Delivery - Redelivery day

Weekly charters usually begin and end on Saturdays. In case of uneven periods of time, such as a ten or twelve-day charter, we will do our best, depending on the circumstances, to accommodate your requirements. All charters begin at 17:00 on the day of departure and typically end at 09:00 on the day of arrival. However, you will be required to return to base on the last evening of your charter (latest until 18:00) as this is the minimum time required to ensure that the boat is delivered to the next charter in perfect working order

Insurance

All our boats are fully insured, included :

• Third party and passenger civil liability minimum 500.000 Euro any one accident.
• Damage liability third party and passenger's yacht 150.000 Euro any one accident.
• Sea pollution liability 150.000 Euro

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit has to be paid prior to embarkation, which varies according to the size of the yacht. Every yacht is comprehensively insured (against damage to the hull, machinery and/or equipment), including third Party cover, beyond a deductible excess figure. The refundable Security Deposit is held against the yachts insurance excess. In case of damage to the yacht or loss of equipment, the estimated value for repairs and replacement is withheld from your security deposit and the balance is returned to you.

Charter Agreement - all terms and conditions

Our Bareboat Charter packages are based on a Charter ** Contract ** which is the official charter contract in Greece.

Booking Procedure

1. In case our offer proposal is at your interest for your sailing holidays, please contact us. We will be glad to send you any additional information and hold an option on the yacht (without any obligation from you), for a period of 7 days pending your final conclusion for the booking.
2. With your confirmation (by option's expire date), we, Epic Y&V will confirm to you the final booking and duly signed charter contract will be mailed to you.

The Charter party contract is approved by the relevant Ministry of Merchant Marine, protects your interests under Greek law and it is a legal requirement for all yacht charters in Greece.

1. Your reservation is secured when down payment is settled. You will be asked to return to us the Charter party signed together with a charter down payment, should be settled within 7 days.
2. The charter balance Payment should be settled latest 35 days before the charter embarkation.

PAYMENTS CONDITIONS

SPECIAL TERMS OF BOOKING & CANCELLATION / RESCHEADULE POLICY FOR 2021 SEASON (DUE TO COVID-19)

1. For any booking confirmed until 31.01.2021:
• a deposit of 30% is required upon booking within 7 days.
• a second payment of 20% is due 90 days after booking confirmation.
• the balance payment of 50% is due 35 days before embarkation.
• If staff (Skipper or/and Hostess) has been requested as extras, there will be a pre-charge authorization 25% of their total fee as staff guarantee (in case of cancellation in 30 or less days before embarkation date).
2. For bookings confirmed after 01/02/2021:
• deposit of 30% is required upon booking within 7 days.
• a second payment of 20% is due 65 days before embarkation.
• the balance payment of 50% is due 35 days before embarkation.
• For last moment bookings, the full payment is required only by credit card (Visa/Mastercard).
• If staff (Skipper or/and Hostess) has been requested as extras, 30 days before embarkation there will be a pre-charge authorization 25% of their total fee as staff guarantee (in case of cancellation).

In case you prefer making your payments by credit / debit card (Visa / Mastercard), please inform us to send you by email the payment link of the secure environment of Alphabank generated specifically for your Booking Id.

Cancellation booking policy

• a) Booking cancelled 91 days or more prior to departure, only dossier expenses will be charged with € 200,-.
• b) Booking cancelled between 90 and 61 days before embarkation, the 30% of the total charter fee will be kept.
• c) Booking cancelled between 60 and 31 days before embarkation, the 50% of the total charter fee will be kept.
• d) Booking cancelled in 30 or less days before embarkation, the 100% of the total charter fee will be kept. Furthermore, if staff (Skipper or/and Hostess) has been requested as extras for the charter, there will be 25% of their total fee applicable charge (your pre-charge authorization, given as staff guarantee, will be kept).

a) If the yacht is re-booked for the same period under the same conditions, the cancellation fees will be refunded to you and only the dossier expenses will be charged with € 200.- b) In case you proceed in a new booking with us later with embarkation/disembarkation dates during the same season (2021), the dossier expenses kept from your previous cancelled booking, will be refunded to you by deducting the price of your new charter.

Rescheduling of the charter is subject to availability. When rescheduling the charter, the client may choose to perform a change of the booking with a bigger or smaller yacht, subject to payment of the additional price-list difference or to reschedule to a higher/lower pricelist period subject to payment of the additional price-list difference. The reschedule/change, will be accepted 65 days before embarkation. Upgrade/change, subject to cancellation policy.
